There is this girl i work with, and we use to be real close. Since ive been engaged she has been really nasty and not even talking to me. She even backed out of coming to the bridal shower and took herself out of the wedding. I really dont want to chance she wont come to the wedding so i wanted to ask her not to come. I think i may be uncomfortable she is there, because it wont be sincere and she may just acted nasty to me there. How do i ask her not to come anymore?

Why don’t you just ask her what the deal is?

Im really surprise some people would be uncomfortable just to let someone else attend thier wedding.

I would bet she wont come. And if she does I think you’ll have enough people to distract you that you probably wont even notice. I wouldnt worry much about it honestly

@kenya.latham.1: isn’t it already uncomfortable at work if she’s being nasty to you?

If she’s really being that nasty, telling her to not come is basically begging for her to show up univited to cause drama.

Thats just weird. I wonder what her problem is. Most people just keep their distance if they stop liking someone for one reason or another… not act like a 5-year-old.

@kenya.latham.1: ah okay I know people like that. I wouldn’t bring it up TBH because if you make it a point to ask her not to come she might come out of spite.

If you don’t trust her to be honest with you woman-to-woman, what make you think she’ll be honest with you if she says she won’t attend?

@Hyperventilate: well she didnt attend,my bridal shower was sat. Now my wedding is next fri.
Its just messy. Shes the kind of person that shell be mad at you ,wont tell what it is and then just start talking to you again and dont even bring up why she was mad
