I’m having somewhat of a similar situation with mine. Took the dress in to be hemmed and 2 weeks later she hasn’t started on it. I would just let her know your concerns, maybe she has a workflow that she follows and can do a good job in a short amount of time…just as long as she knows you need it in 6 weeks at the latest!

@anonymous2121:  How did you find her? Does she have good reviews? Does she know your wedding date? If she has a strong reputation and knows your date, I would relax and trust her. She does this for a living after all. If you want the dress at a much earlier time than the week before your wedding, let her know at your next fitting.
