So I’m dog sitting my mom’s pug this week, and she was one of our family dogs, so I care about this dog a lot.
She’s 8 years old and has trouble walking sometimes, to the point she refuses to go on a walk (and she loves walks!). The problem seems to be in her back and hind legs. Usually she just doesn’t put weight on one of her back legs, but yesterday I noticed her hind leg “drifting”, sort of slowly gliding around. Because of her age, I’d assume it was arthritis, but we had to put her sister from the same litter down because of a brain tumor recently. Should we be worried?
And if she does have arthritis, what are things you bees have done to help your dogs?
