I would be careful buying this kind of dress online – it looks like it would show all your flaws if it doesn’t fit amazingly.

Very pretty! I would at least go to a shop to try on a similar style just so you can make sure you like this type of dress on yourself.

I think you really should try on this style and material before you buy it.

It’s beautiful, but definitely go try something similar on first. I was in the same position and ended up buying a totally different dress when I actually tried them on.

It is a gorgeous dress but I agree with other pp that you should try on a similiar dress before buying it

i personally think it looks a bit night-gownish.

While it is pretty, I think it will show every “nook and cranny” lol! Def.try it on first if possible! Maybe something with a bit more lace and thicker material???

@hopefloats: agree

@Cash000: The style is pretty and the back looks great, but i don’t like the fabric. I saw a lot of similar styles when i was searching for a dress online, but they were made of chiffon and i think chiffon looks so much nicer and more flattering, and it’s perfect for a destination wedding.

But you should definitely go and try on some dresses. I was like you, i didn’t want to go, i hated the thought of trying on dresses and i had nobody to go with me. I bought a couple of inexpensive dresses online, but none of them fit and they were not what i had imagined. So now i have three dresses hanging in my closet that i can’t sell. What a waste of money, sigh.

But then i went to two bridal salons, and although i had a terrible time both times and didn’t find a dress i liked, i’m glad i did. You could also try places like Nordstrom or similar, they are not as intimidating as a bridal salon. I finally found my dress at BCBG, two weeks before the wedding.

 Edit: I just had another thought: I am small chested as well and i know a neckline like that wouldn’t have worked for me. You can’t really wear a bra with this dress and i think it just doesn’t look good when you don’t have nice round boobs 😉

Please go try on dresses first. I didn’t take anyone with me and I was fine. just don’t bring any money or credit cards with you so you can’t be talked into anything.
