Totally honest opinion- I like the dress you have way better than the one online.

What about just making the dress you have into a sweetheart neckline if that’s one of the details you like about the other dress?

I agree with rosychicklet, especially about the sweetheart neckline. I think that would really up the oomph of your current dress, which I think is way nicer than the other one and looks better on you (or would). The dress you have is gorgeous.

Oh I am torn.  It’s hard to say without seeing the dress on you.  The one online is a bit more modern versus traditional.  I am not sure what is really drawing you to the one online but maybe you could alter the first one to more your taste?

$250 may or may not be a whole lot to you but it seems extremely inexpensive so I wouldn’t suspect the best quality.  At the same time maybe you could order it and return it?

I know I haven’t helped much, but good luck!

check the return policy. then if you get it and hate it, you can just send it back!

Or if you love it, you can be a 2 dress bride!

Definitely read through those reviews…I found a dress I adore on that site too, but the ratings are so awful that I can’t bring myself to even consider ordering from them.

Consider doing what other girls on this site are doing- post an alchemy request on Etsy and see if there’s someone in your area who could make the dress for you. You’ll save a bundle because most dressmakers include the price of alterations in with the cost of the dress. Just some food for thought!

I’m agreeing with rosychicklet, the dress you currently have is much more fabulous. It’s so unique! I love the lacey overlay.

And kudos to the sweetheart neckline idea! That’s actually a very easy alteration to make.

You know, that ruffly tiered dress is *cute* and definitely *in* but i think you would look like a cupcake in it! I like the one you have…it’s classic and bridal. But i’m not into things that are very trendy b/c i like more classic looks. If you like the sweetheart (which i do!) you could have that added to the dress you have! But…i’m not a fan of the tiered dress. Sorry!

i LIKE YOUR DRESS BETTER TOO! And i read a lot about women who have 2nd thoughts about their dress after they buy it…it might have been in a post here as well. But I bet you when you have the veil, makeup, necklace and earrings and everything all pulled together on your wedding day…you will know its the one.

Ditto. But do what you know you will not regret doing. 🙂
