I’m having a tad bit of dress regret…
I really do love my dress, I think it’s really pretty and it works well with my hourglass figure, however I feel like it could be better. I am having an outside wedding, so my goal was to not have something really puffy or elaborate.
My dress right now is CRL538 from David’s Bridal.
My question is should I add a corset back or some sort of a sash or something to it? I’m trying not to regret getting this, but I wish now I would have looked a little more, and I’m hoping that adding something will make it feel a little more me.
Has anyone else added something to their dress, or one similar to mine? How did it work out?

I couldn’t find a picture of the back, except on the website. Right now it zips and it has a slight "v" in the back.

That’s a gorgeous dress! I really like it!
As to the dress regret, have you ordered and are waiting for it to come in or have you tried on YOUR dress (not just the sample) and are still second guessing?

UHH… why is it putting all that funky codes in my post??? My computer is on the fritz today!
@caitlanc: i ordered and got it in last month. It wasn’t supposed to be in till May, but apparently they way overestimated! Not gonna complain about that one though…

I think it is beautiful! If you are looking to spice it up you could always add a colored sash…

it’s very pretty…can you tell us more about why it doesn’t feel like you? That would be helpful. I think the sash idea is great, By The Way. I often think jewelry can do a lot to change the look of a dress is well. But it’d be useful to know what’s missing, or links to some other things you’ve liked.

That dress is lovely! It’s hard to tell with the model’s hand around her waist, but I think that a sash would work well!

Hi there, I think that it is a beautiful dress, elegant, sobber, and for an outside wedding, it goes perfect!!! But if you want to spicy a little I would say some nice jewelry or a sash would work too!!

I agree that a necklace can make a huge difference. I tried on one dress (strapless) that I really liked but wasn’t quite clicking until my friend Kelly put a pearl necklace on me that she happened to be wearing. It changed the whole look of the dress so that I loved it!

I think it’s a beautitful dress! You could do a neutral sash for the ceremony and then change into a fun colored sash for the reception??

It is beautiful! I also second guess my dress choice sometimes. (I tend to go back and forth–in concept I love my dress, when I think about the details of my dress, I’m just not 100% sold.)
If you like the sash idea, that’s an easy thing to try and decide that it spices it up a bit, or that you like it better plain. If you aren’t digging that idea, just remember that there was something that made you want to buy THIS dress. How did you feel when you first looked at it? Try to remember that excitement, and take a leap of faith that you’ll still love it when it arrives in May.
Good luck!
