My fiance and I just booked our wedding venue.. Yay! The only problem is.. the color of the walls. They’re navy blue.. Originally, I wanted a purple wedding.. Purple and Steel Grey to be exact. The first thing I said when I saw the space was.. “Ohhh.. need to change my colors..” So what do you think bees?? Stick with Purple and Steel Grey?? Or switch to Navy with Pink accents??
Here is a picture of the reception space..

What a beautiful venue! And no: you shouldn’t. Here’s a few things I found online for you, just to give you an idea:
ETA: maybe add the navy into other aspects of your wedding for continuity 🙂 (if you’re worried about that)

@ladyartichoke: Thank you! All of the colors seem to work wonderfully together! Thanks for the inspiration board. I’ll definitely be using it! 🙂

I have a similar problem. The color of my venue’s walls are a sage green-ish, as well as the carpet. My colors are cobalt blue and fuschia. I’m not that worried about it though, I don’t feel like the focus will be on the walls, it will be on your decor!

I’m biased cause my wedding colors were navy blue and blush pink!
But no, I don’t really think changing your colors is necessary – purple blue and grey can all look really nice together 🙂

keep your colors… you dont want to blend to much into the venue, your colors you picked reflect your style and i think the venue is not an overstated color so your colors should give a nice pop!

Thank you everyone for the responses! I was worried about my colors clashing.. but I think I’ll be okay. If anything, I’ll change the accent color from grey to something else. 🙂

@jpalm13: Thank you! I was a little crushed when I realized our guest list was too large for a golf course/country club wedding, but I think our venue will be great. 🙂

No, I don’t think you should change. I don’t think that Navy walls will interfere with your colors. I think it will look beautiful!! I love your venue!!

I dont think you need to change colors. Your colors dont have to match the interior decor of the venue anyway. Plus in your case the the navy does work with your colors
