Backstory: SO and I are getting engaged really soon, so naturally I’m gravitating towards everything that happens after the proposal, namely e-pix. We love the snow and agreed we want a winter wonderland themed wedding, so I thought some outdoor pictures in the snow would be perfect for our engagement session pictures.
Cut to today, it’s currently snowing so I want to go check out some spots I’ve thought of where we could go.
I’m torn though. I’m comfy inside where it’s warm and our engagement pics wouldn’t be until January… but I also hear the siren’s call of “be productive! scope out these spots while it’s snowy! engagement engagement engagement!”
Should I stay put or should I don my hat and gloves and go on an adventure?

@sarahbabs: That is true. I’m sure SO would want to see these places, too. I hadn’t thought of that, haha. I just like to get everything done!

@sarahbabs: I want to talk to him about it but I feel like I’ve been chatty enough about the engagement (I already know when he’s planning on it- I think..) that if I talk any more about it, he’ll get annoyed. But at the same time, he always insists he doesn’t mind talking about anything, even if its wedding or engagement related, and it’s really hard to annoy him. What do you think?

@Omgbunnies: I’d say wait until after the engagement. And not like RIGHT after either – give it at least a week of just basking int he hapy glow of being engaged before starting on the planning stuff- it’ll be nice for both of you! But finding engagement picture spots is a good thing to start the planning talkes with when it comes time, because it’ll be fun and sweet ๐

Stay put. Do you really want to get engaged with a broken limb because you slipped in the ice or something?! (seriously, that would be my luck because I am a klutz. maybe you are more graceful. ๐ )

@lovekiss: lol I can see this happening. That’s true. If I fell and broke my left arm and had it in a cast, that would make for terrible e-pictures.

I’d stay put inside for now. I want my SO and I to take some e-pics in the snow (because back in my hometown it’s a foreign concept and I think it’s so freaking pretty) but you can worry about that after he proposes. Especially if he proposes in a certain location and then you might want to get the pictures taken there.
