I would def keep your original e ring, it’s beautiful! It would be worth it to have a custom band done, but if you dont want that then i think a curved band on either side might look good. Even if there are small gaps, if they’re on both sides it will make it look symmetrical and intentional.

I want to say keep the e ring and get a plain flat thin band

I say either go custom, or go with a simple band (such as diamond channel-set). Even if there is a gap, it will be small, and I think it will still look lovely. I think your engagement ring is beautiful, by the way! Definitely don’t get rid of it!

If you love your ring, keep it and work “around” it.  this way you can always have it.

I would say, get a custom band made that fits and matches…

or get a simple band if you feel you need a band.

I wore mine by itself for a very long time, then, my husband got me an eternity band that matches it and I go back and forth on how I wear it…sometimes with the eternity band, sometimes with two plain white gold bands on either side…sometimes by itself…I like variety!

    Good luck!

I have the same engagement ring!!!  I love it.  It’s so simple but perfect (in my opinion).  My wedding band is a shared prong diamond band.  It actually sits pretty flush to the the ring because it isn’t flat at the top.  It’s not by Tacori.  I couldn’t justify spending the Tacori $ on the bands.

This isn’t my band, but it’s similar.

I voted that you stick with your original e-ring and have a custom band made.

Can you let us know what band you ultimately chose (pics please)! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ring. My boyfriend and I chose the same one and just ordered it yesterday with a princess cut diamond. I’m so excited to see it complete in January! But, I know when the days comes when i search for a band, I’ll want something that sits flush and am nervous about finding one. The Tacori ones are gorgeous but so pricey!

Get a 1mm spacer band to sit between your ring and your wedding band. It’s cheap and would solve the problem so easily and then you can choose whatever band you want!

I recommend keeping your engagement ring.  If you have been engaged for this long then there is no reason to get a different setting.  I would only get a different setting if I didn’t like it anymore, not because I can’t find a band to go with it.

I don’t think that you will have a hard time getting a custom made wedding band that you love.  All you need to do is do a little reasearch.

Something similar to this http://www.bluenile.com/ca/diamond-wedding-ring_8133 might work
