Is it a popular style, size and color? I have mine listed too… only for about a week but no buyers.

Sorry but that is the going commision rate with consignment stores.  Although I’ve never sold a wedding dress, I have sold high end clothing and shoes via cosign shops.  I would talk w/ the owners and see if there is any room to negoiate.

I purchased my dress online and it was a sample dress. The dress was cleaned and pressed.  Beautiful packaged and I had 3 days to make a decision.  There was a small run but was not visible unless you knew it was there.  It was also close to 80% off.  I couldn’t afford my Badgley Mischa otherwise.  I did find other options but private sellers cost significantly more than small boutiques.

That is the going rate for consignment shops.

I would keep dropping your asking price. Also, I would reccomend checking into what the dress is selling used online at like RK bridal or something. Make sure that it hasn’t become significantly cheaper since you purchased it.

Are there any other gowns by this desinger listed on these sites? Check to see what their prices are.

Do the math: How low can you lower the asking price until you would break even consigning it?

Try putting it on ebay, I looked for dresses on there all the time.
