(Closed) Should I dry-clean my dress?

My seamstress did not dry clean.  I also bought two sample dresses and I had them cleaned right away.

My seamstress also did not dry clean the dress.  Actually, I don’t think it’s typical for dresses to be dry cleaned after alterations.  Pressed, yes and maybe spot cleaned if necessary, but not typically a full on cleaning.  

A good cleaner should be able to get most dirt out now or in a few months.  I would probably get it cleaned now though…what if some of the stains DON’T come out?  Would the dress still be usable?  If not, better to find out before you spend the $$ on alterations.
