First, i have to say i LOVE your dress.  so gorgeous!  I think it could stand without a veil, but I think it sounds like you want one.  that said, I’d recommend a long, but simple (maybe pencil edge?) veil to go with your dress.  I think the detailing on the dress demands the drama that a long veil provides, but i think any lace edging etc would detract from those same dress details.  so, long and simple is my opinion.  i hope that helps!

Okay, I voted yes, because I love veils and it sounds like you do too. In my head, I’m picturing an elbow length veil because it won’t cover up any of your amazing dress but you’ll still get that lovely bridal-y effect.

That said, your dress is stunning and I don’t think it REQUIRES a veil.

A floor length or cathedral veil would be lovely, too.

i don’t think you need one either, but if you WANT one, i would suggest a long one layer veil.  keep it simple so it doesn’t distract from your lovely dress!!

If you want one.. go with long simple single layer toole.  It would be the drama that you are looking for, but the style wouldn’t take away from the amazing dress!

I LOVE your dress!  I had seen it in magazines, but it looks just as spectacular on a real person.  Beautiful!

And yes, a long veil would work great with it.

Yep, you can just wear the veil for the ceremony, so you get the chance to wear it but don’t have to deal with it all night. 🙂

I love your dress!  This is my dress and I had the same issue with the veil.  I tried it on with a fingertip and it didn’t look right, but then I tried it with a cathedral and I loved it.

Since you are within 20 days I would say just run up to Davids Bridal.  That way you can see the veil in person and walk out of the store with it in hand.

I agree – I think a simple cathedral length veil would look stunning!

I say a simple blusher veil. I feel like a veil really completes the ‘bride’ look. I wouldn’t get married without one. Then after the ceremony you can take it off and have fun!

PS just saw you posted a pic of a veil you liked. I love it-simple and will complete the elegance but not overpower the look of your dress
