@phoebephoebo:  I say yes to video. I love my video and love how I get to see what was happening when my husband was getting ready. I ‘ve already watched 3 times and I only got it 3 days ago!

we didn’t have a videographer and it’s one of my regrets. we had planned on just using my parents’ video camera, but it got left behind at the house, so i have no video  of my ceremony. we have some footage of the reception, but not as much as i’d like.

OMG do it, please. I haven’t seen my finished product but there were so many things my photographer missed that I thank my lucky stars we hired a videographer.

Do it. I’d watch my video every day if I could. It’s just wonderful to watch the whole process again. Pictures can only do so much.

Im also deciding on whether to hire a videographer. My fiance said his friend can videotape for us but I was also wondering if we should get it professionally done.  I’ve seen samples of 3-5min highlight reels and they just seem so memorable!

@aoya We had a very affordable and wonderful videographer who is totally amazing!! I would not have my wedding day without it.

Here is our wedding day teaser video so you can see a glimpse of what you would be capturing

If you can’t afford it or it’s not in the budget at least have someone with a video camera or two set up throughout the day because it goes so fast

@phoebephoebo

You would have to check around the editing is the part that costs a lot as it takes time, unless you may be able to find a student to do it for cheap as part if their portfolio

Get one! Check craigslist! I am getting one all day (getting ready to last dance) 3 cameras, a video with the whole ceremony, whole getting ready, whole reception, and a montage on a dvd for $700.. and his sample videos are awesome! Check craigslist out!!
