I’m having a similar issue since my ring isn’t ordinary.  But I think a straight across band will look great.  If your a sapphire girl then go for that.  If you want to add symmetry you can get a band on each side.

Another option…would you consider moving your e-ring to your right hand and wearing a band only on the left? then they wouldn’t have to “match” quite as much.

I think you would have to go shopping and try things on to know for sure.  I am not certain that any band wouldn’t take away a little bit, but it is hard for me to imagine.  What about a right hand band?  Diamond and Saphire?

theu can make something that will fit together like a puzzle  go to the jewler and they can make a wax mold and make you a perfct matching band…

I voted to get a wedding band and that I would post a pic, but that’s not necessary since I think the straight diamond band you posted would be PERfect. I think it would look elegant and beautiful.

While I absolutely LOVE the braided band (I am thinking of getting something similar but with less weaving), I think it would detract from your ring. Definitely get a band – go with the straight single row of stones. I think either sapphires or diamonds would be beautiful. You might want to avoid alternating stones on the same band though because that might make it look to “busy.”

If possible, I would get 2 straight bands to wear on each side of the ering. It would make the ering stand out even more. Love the triple shank!

If you want the braided band, you could do what @MissMaryMc: said and do the braided one as your band, and make your e-ring a right-hand ring.

@Mrs.LilyLunaLove: I think a sapphire straight band like the ones you have pictures would look great! But then, I’m also considering a sapphire wedding band, so I might be a little biased πŸ˜‰ I think anything much more than a simple band would take away from your e-ring.

Fiance and I are broke so we’re also thinking of doing a right hand anniversary ring at some point, maybe for 5 years or something, so I love that idea too πŸ™‚

If you want a wedding band and can afford it, you should get one.

I personally want to have the same amount of rings as hubby does, so I will be keeping my e-ring as my wedding band. Hubby will only have the “wedding band” (but he’s wearing it now, btw). But i was our decision to only have one ring- so go with what you want.

I would try on a few different rings with the e-ring. That is what I did and I know what I will want if I ever get one later in life. See what looks good with your e-ring

I think your ring is so beautiful and intricate on its own, adding more may detract from it a little.  It does look like a wedding set, too.  Love that first sapphire band you posted.  Perhaps wear them on different hands?

The straight diamond band for sure.
