when i tried on my dress for the first time, the seamstress told me that i should let her add boning to the skirt so it will keep its shape better and not get caught up in my legs while i walk. it’s going to be $65.
if i bought my own crinoline/hoop, would i get the same result and would it be cheaper? or should i just let her do it so i don’t need to add another thing to my to-do list?
i don’t know anything about skirt boning or crinoline. i don’t know what it’s like to wear one. i don’t know what to look for as far qulaity/material or what a good price is.
if it matters, the only alterations i will need to pay for are the bustle, which will be $45 and the boning (if i choose to have it). everything else is free.
this is the dress. obviously that’s not me in it, lol. but if it would help to see it on me, i can upload a picture.
