I hope I spelled that right.
Anyways my Fiance bought me the ring of my dreams when we got engaged. It is a three centerstone princess cut with a half-eternity of diamonds. My wedding band is also a half-eternity. I know I’ll need to get the wedding band sized but I’m worried that the wedding band will slide and it will look weird if they don’t line up. But I’m worried if I sodder them that I’ll either have to wear my engagement AND wedding ring or nothing at all unless he buys me something else later on.
Wedding and engagement ring:
My Engagement Ring is a high mounted setting (which I love!!!) but later on I think I might not like it because I’m worried I’ll break the prongs

I had mine soldered together and I love it. It keeps them from rubbing and losing the plating.

Your rings are very pretty. I am wondering the same thing about mine. I think you should wait to get them soldered, until after you get your wedding ring sized, then see how it fits without it being soldered. That is what I am going to do.

I’m going to have a similar issue. I have a halo with half eternity and my wedding band will match with half eternity. While I know my rings may move and night be perfect in line all the time, I am not getting them soldered for the very reason you stated. If I ever just need to wear my wedding band I wont be able to. I like having the option of being able to wear my e-ring or not, but I am always going to want to wear my wedding ring.

I thought about getting mine done but i decided not to. I was in the same boat as you. Sometime (especially in the summer) i might just want to wear one of them. And if you aren’t 100 % on it yet then hold off. You can always get in done later if you change your mind. I thought i was going to have to get mine done in order for them to sit together right but after wearing them all the time it hasn’t been a problem- if it ain’t broken don’t fix it ! 😉

I went with two wedding bands (Guess I’m a sucker for symmetry) and they’re 1/3 eternity so they do tend to move around a bit when I wear them all together (not that I have been doing that for at least a bit everyday even though it’s still 2 months to the wedding or anything ) but yeah, I decided not to get them soldered together cos I thought if I ever just want to wear one I won’t be able to. Not having them stuck together just means there’s more flexibility in how you wear them.
