Maybe just one size smaller.  If you end up losing more weight, the dress can always be taken in.  But you don’t want to NOT fit in a dress and have to add fabric to make it fit.

I wouldn’t. You can take any dress it, but it’s near impossible to let most dresses out more than about 1/2 a size. You don’t have enough time to have a backup plan if you are wrong about losing weight.

Just re-read your post.  If you’re getting married in a month, there’s no way you can healthily lose 18 pounds.  Also, you don’t have much time for major alterations.  I’d say order the size you are now since you will probably only be able to lose a few inches at most in a month.  Also, if you can, find a corset style back that will give you a little more leeway.

It depends on how well you’re eating now.  If you drastically changed your eating habits, you could easily lose a few pounds right off the bat in water weight.  In that case, maybe 10+ lbs in a month.

If you’ve been eating healthy and don’t have bloat or water weight to lose, I’d say 5-10 lbs?  It’s ideal to lose 1-2 lbs a week.

I don’t think you can lose 15 pounds in a month. I also don’t think you can order a wedding dress in a month! They usually take 6 months to come in.

I think you can only realistically expect to lose no more than 10 lbs between now and your wedding – be careful! I wouldn’t order a dress smaller though – it’s easier to take a dress in than let it out.

Order it in your current size and if you lose the weight you can have the dress taken in.

You can safely lose on your own without supervision 1 lb a week, sometimes 2. Anything more than that, and you need to be supervised by professionals.

NO i would not, get the size you are now, it would suck to have too tight of a dress on your wedding day!

Girl, get the size you are now.  I am a little lower than your current weight and height right now (5’2 and 129 lbs) after losing about 80 lbs 2 years ago.  I am trying to get the last 10 off and it’s hard.  Small weight loss takes longer and is harder to do than big weight loss.  I’m down 6 now–I started at 135lbs 2 months ago.  I work out every day, keep under 1260 calories per day and I’m just crawling.  I lost weight a helluva lot faster and more easily when I was fatter.  There is no way you can drop enough to make much of a difference in a month without being very unhealthy and probably gaining it right back as soon as you’re “done”.
