I love the dress, i think its beautiful… but my advice to you is to wait.. there will be so many more beautiful dresses coming out in the next 18 months for you to consider. You may regret this with the amount of choice you could have.

Love this dress BUT I think yo ushould wait. Its not perfect (size, discontinued) so there is no reason to buy it now. Its wayyy too big and I am reluctant that it will look great after all those alterations. Keep looking lady! ๐Ÿ˜€

I also think you should wait.  Personally I think that would be to much in alterations and if its not the feel your going for I think you should keep looking.

I suggest you wait and have fun trying on more dresses! You might have a dress regret if you decide the dress so early!

Having had my dress altered down from an 18 to a 10 in the past I can tell you it will not look the same. I had an amazingly talented seamstress and it still did not look the same. It was pretty but lost the wow factor. If this ends up being your dream dress have jasmine’s bridal shop make it. Just save every picture you can find then if it is still the one you dream about go that route.

While I LOVE the dress for your venue and don’t think its inappropriate for October in Michigan ๐Ÿ™‚ … I would wait. I’m sure you can find somethig similar that you may actually like better and will be in our size. I don’t think it’s worth the risk of buying it and having the alterations not work. Thats probaby half the dress that they would have to cut up and take out and you would lose some of the beauty :/

Hope this helps I know its a difficult decision! ๐Ÿ™‚

yeah I just saw this one on a mannequin the other day and started to like it…http://www.pronovias.us/wedding-gowns/new-collection-costura/

but had the same issues. But I thnk whimsical also works for the space…. I think thats also the beauty of the space it can be modern and chic….fairty tale and large… vintage/romantic…whatever you want!

I found a place that was amazing near the venue for dresses (turns out is where family members had gotten theres too). They were great and understood the venue which I think is half the battle lol—let me know if you want their info! ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with PPs. Absolutely do not even consider purchasing a sample size 16 if you are a bridal size 2.  The standard is that a gown may be taken in TWO dress sizes.  You’re talking about seven dress sizes here.  That would never work.
