urgent care is a lot more affordable usually, and if they can’t treat you there, they’ll refer you to the ER.

Get off the computer and go see a doctor!

@SweetRose2011: Get off the Bee and go to at least a walk-in clinic!  If they think it’s serious, they’ll send you to the hospital.  GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

    Could it be kidney stones?

Does it say on your insurance how much it will cost? My old insurance costs the same for both, but now urgent care is $100 and ER is $200. It’s worth the money for good health though!

At this point, I would just go somewhere–preferably the hospital! You do not want this developing into something life-threatening. I understand the cost issue, but you could be putting your body/health in a lot of danger. GO! GO!

Don’t waste time with the Urgent Care if they’ll end up sending you to the ER anyway. Go to the hospital.

I would just go to the ER since the clinic will likely send you to the hospital anyway.  Blood in the urine is also a UTI symptom…

I am a nurse and I would go to urgent care. This is not a life threatening condition and if the ER is busy you could wait all day.

I had a friend go to an urgent care.  They determined he was having a heart attack and told him to go to the ER.  Didn’t call an ambulance, just told him to go himself.  He died in the car on the way.  His family sued and won.  Go to the ER!
