I’m a march ’15 bride and my dresses are in my closet. Being a two dress bride I felt I needed the time to research and find my dresses without pressure. Little did I know I’d buy the first dress I tried on. honestly, looking for a dress with zero sense of urgency was such a nice thing. It lets you really explore all the options and weight one idea against the other. Worst case you check off finding the perfect dress early 🙂

I am getting married in June of this year, and bought my dress last February! I was going to “get an idea” but fell in love with it 😉

My big fancy wedding is in december, I bought my dress in march of last year and had been eyeing dresses for a year before that! When the dress I wanted went up on preownedweddingdresses I bought it without a moment’s notice! I would recomend also going there to look. Some of those ridiculously expensive gowns could be selling for a bit more than what it ould cost to have JBS make them with designer grade 🙂
ALSO! Check out Church Street Bridal on facebook. I bought Monique Lhuillier Candy from them for $200 and it’s a sample gown. All profits go to help abused women and children in Virginia. Their inventory is online and they ship all over the world.

@peonyinlove: I definitely think you can go now! I planned oN getting an idea of what I wanted early on and my mom and I went to look at dresses a year and a half before my wedding. surprisingly I fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I tried on 4 more after that but knew that it was the dress for me! I ended up ordering it a month later!

i remember your candy post and i have church street bridal on facebook now! i check it every so often – it’s hard to tell what’s available though, i wish they would post gowns to albums like ‘mermaid’ ‘ball gown’ etc and then take down the photo when it’s sold, or move it to an album called ‘sold’ – aaaanyways 🙂
