yes, it looks like it would be universally flattering. I like it.

I actually think that it might be ok on her. I was looking at something similar for my hostesses (in champagne). I had the same problem with them…they all have big boobs.

I’m not sure it will.  I am 5’1″ with bigger boobs and hips and I’m certain that would make me look hippy.  It could probably be fixed though by adding some tulle or something similar underneath to make it flare a little so it won’t hug the hips.  What does she think about it?

Will you be going with black? I think this looks great in black, and probably would be flattering for your shorter bridesmaid – it might come out looking longer on her, which might help create a slimming look.

I had a couple of “bustier” bridesmaids, and they thanked me later for choosing a dress with straps. So if your shorter friend is a little bigger boobed, the straps are also a plus for this dress.

i think it would look nice. did you ask her opinion? my moh is very busty, and she was very happy to give me her opinion and what wouldn’t work for her when looking for dresses, which made things easier for me because then i knew what to look for.

Have you considered letting the 3 bridesmaids each wear different styles that they pick out themselves, in the same color?  I just fear dressing the three of them in the exact same dress is going to force guests to compare/contrast the three and may make your shorter friend more self conscious since her body type is so different from the other two.  Just a thought.

I am 5ft and used to carry extra weight with big boobs. I would look fine in that now but when I had bigger boobs the top would have looked bad. I used to fine v necks were a better option.

You won’t know anything until they all try the dress on. Also be open to other styles. Really though, because everyone is built so differently, there are very few styles that are universally flattering for all body types.

Speaking as someone on the shorter side (under 5′) who is also very top heavy, I personally am not comfortable in that particular style but other women are. They need to try them on before you decide on anything.
