My co-workers held a “food day” in honor of my upcoming wedding. They also gave my Fiance and me a very generous gift. This was completely unexpected and much appreciated.
I sent an email to these people thanking them, but I was thinking I should also handwrite a thank you to give them personally. Would that be overkill because I already sent an email?

I would also do the handwritten thank you card. Sounds like your co-workers went above and beyond. They deserve it. 🙂

Definitely send handwritten thank-you’s.

P.S. I’m a Cincinnati bride too. 🙂

I always think that a handwritten note is a nice touch. I don’t think it would be overkill. Just consider the email a hold over until you could get them the personalized note.

My co-workers threw me a shower last week and I spent the entire night writing thank yous to each person and delivered them personally the next day… of course I am anal (ha ha!) but I was so touched by the fact they cared.
