Hello lovely brides~ I’m in a dilemma and hope someone could share some insights. My wedding dress will be long sleeved and floor length. My fiance bought the cloth during one of his work trip and I just thought of doing something special for him by turning that into my wedding dress. The material is chiffon/silk. 🙂
I’m trying to ‘dress up’ my dress and to avoid looking under-dressed. My tailor suggested two options; one is to have a train, of tulle/chiffon material OR just leave as it is, a floor length dress, and just go for a nice cathedral veil. My wedding will be in a reception hall as well.
Here are some photos of my cloth and pictures of what I have in mind. I’m going for the flowy, feminine kind of dress, avoiding anything that emphasizes my curves too much like mermaid styles; really not fitting as I’m not comfortable showing off too much of my hourglass figure. (yeap, im getting constant remarks about this too, but heyy, nothing wrong with choosing to be modest for your wedding day right)
Oh and if you’re wondering why I’m wearing a long sleeved dress, it’s because of conservative reasons. Thanks for reading, appreciate all your comments very much~ 🙂
