    What is your vision for your wedding? How much decor are you planning?

    Don’t forget that DIY can be completed ahead of time and shipped to NL.

    ps one small correction- Those of us in BC would not agree that Quebec is “one side of Canada”! That leaves Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta , BC, the Yukon , Northwest Terriotories and Nunavet out of Canada entirely!

    I diyed pretty much my entire wedding and we only had 3 hours to set up our venue before the ceremony began. Also had reception and ceremony at same venue. We managed everything without a coordinator. And nothing went amiss. If you have extra $, a day-off coordinator may be helpful. This is someone who just helps make sure everything runs smoothly on the day of your event, and doesnt really help with all the planning beforehand.

    I’m a coordinator so I of course say yes 😉 but no seriously I’m DIY’ing everything!  We’re having an evening ceremony and I’ll be there to supervise everyone in the morning but I’m having a day-of coordinator/director to make sure everything runs smoothly while I’m getting ready and while I’m visiting with guests.  One thing I will say is that if you don’t you also will need to delegate someone to talk to all the vendors and tell them where you want them set up, etc. Good luck!
