The church is very simple to find… simple enough to word into directions too.
Only problem I suppose is that the invitations are all here and pretty and nice… have a direction card to the reception… but what the heck happened to directions to the church?? Did we snooze on that or is that not typically included or something?
Now I am faced with making my own… thinking of just printing on a certain type of paper but no matter what it’s going to look like an afterthought and not go with the invitations…
The address is on the invitations at least. I figure anything I’ve ever gotten directions to I always just look it up on my own like on mapquest or use my GPS…
I’m trying to get out of making them but I want to be sure before I make that decision. Does everyone include them to the church? I feel like it makes sense but I can’t figure out why the heck we didn’t get them… we ordered our invitations through our venue… and we figured they had us covered with everything we needed, hopefully this is ok..

I think you’re fine with the address on the invitation..I wouldn’t worry about doing another card just for the directions.
Do you have a wedding website for you to post directions on?

You do not need to include directions to the church. Brides are starting to treat their guests like stupid people. This is a relatively new trend. No one used to include direction to venues.
Between maps, mapquest, google etc people can find their way anywhere.

I think they can use Google Maps. Don’t worry about it!

We only did because we had a lot of out of town guests and our venue was out in the middle of nowhere. also most of our guests were family and a lot of them are older and dont use google maps. etc. Look at the guests when trying to make this decision…

Address is enough. Most ppl will Google and print their own directions.

Thanks for writing, I’m still on the fence!! I made the directions, printed on good paper that matched in color and cut with a trimmer… looks very good… but obviously not matching because everything else of the invitations has a border, and this also has a different grain to the paper… but it looks fine… so confused! I guess as long as it’s not improper to add your own extra thing to the invitations…. don’t know why this is so hard to decide. They’re already in the envelopes though so so far they’re being included.

I included directions to the reception only, but I did provide the address of the church. It’s not tough to find, so I’m not concerned.

We had pocket folds and the directions card had directions to the church from north and south and also directions to the receptions. Most all our guests were from out of town or out of state.
