I found this resort called Star Island Resort and Club (In Orlando near Disney), and this place looks really nice. And they have a room with a jacuzzi!!! (How Romantic!!!<3)
I set my hotel budget at around $1,000 for 6 nights. This place is like $160 but that price does not include daily housekeeping or breakfast. But this place does have a washer/dryer (and also full kitchen and living area) which would help for not having to do laundry when we get home!
I can easily find a very nice place for a lot less than $150/night, more like $110/120 night that obviously doesn’t include a jacuzzi, but it does include breakfast and daily housekeeping.
Now I don’t expect us to be spending much time at our room though other than some mornings. But my Fiance loves the jacuzzi idea.
Is it worth it to invest $350 at least just for a Jacuzzi suite?
Did anyone get a Jacuzzi suite and end up not really using the Jacuzzi?
(Or does anyone else have any suggestions for a romantic hotel room or honeymoon suite for less than $150 preferably

Could you split it up and do 3 nights in a jacuzzi suite, and 3 in a regular suite?
I doubt you’ll spend each night in the jacuzzi, unless of course you aren’t doing anywhere else on your honeymoon!

I think it just depends on the couple and how much you’re likely to use it. Are there public hot tubs you could use if you opt not to get the jaqcuzzi in your room? Then again it is your honeymoon so maybe you’d prefer the private one 😛 I’d ask your Fiance how much he realistically expects to use it. If it won’t break the bank and he really thinks you’ll get a lot of use out of it (at least 2-3 times) then I say go for it.
I stayed in a suite once with a jacquzzi tub. It was AMAZING and I absolutely loved it. It made me want one in my house so badly lol. I don’t know that I would spend $40+ per night for one, but again it is your honeymoon.

My Fi and I would always opt for a jacuzzi in our hotel whenever we travel. It just adds a touch of romance to what would be just a normal hotel stay. I say go for it!! Nothing says romance like sitting in a jacuzzi with your new husband at the end of the day.. Besides, it also adds to the “mood” 😉
However, if money plays a factor in it, I agree with jenilynevette and do 3 nights in a jacuzzi suite and 3 nights in a normal room… Just make sure you spend your last 3 nights in the jacuzzi suite 🙂

@raziel1687: you are on your honeymoon. i certainly hope you won’t be doing laundry so disregard that feature altogether. having daily housekeeping is nice for making the bed, fresh towels and tidying up. this is a nice; again, you are on your honeymoon. a jacuzzi in the room is great only if you will use it.
have you considered having the jacuzzi room for only the first half of your honeymoon?

@raziel1687: your jacuzzi will be costing you an extra $1160 outside of your budget, to put it in perspective 😉

@raziel1687: Did you tell the resort it is your honeymoon? A lot of places will give you discounts for it. You may want to do the “well it is our honeymoon and we really want that jacuzzi.. is there any option of an upgrade? I know XXX resort nearby upgrades to the jacuzzi room for free for honeymooners….”
haha, no harm in asking 🙂

Maybe have the jacuzzi room for the first night, and then swap to a cheaper room for the rest of the trip? We’ve had a couple of jacuzzi rooms and they are certainly fun 😀 but you woulnd’t need it every night!
