I am keeping my dress.  I love my dress.  She will be in my closet FOREVER!!!

Also I decided to do another photo session since we weren’t able to get all the pics I wanted.  I must have a picture w/ my bustle and us frolicking on the beach(We love the beach)

I’m actually going to dye my reception dress cause it is beautiful.

I am trying to sell mine.

I understand the sentimentality of it all, but part of my deal with myself was I would get a dress that was a bit more expensive with the understanding I would sell it.

Also, it costs a lot of money to clean and preserve, only to take up valuable space in my closet.

I have never known anyone to use their mothers dress etc. And on the very slim chance that my daughter (if I even have one) would wear it, is it worth the cost and space to store it?

I have the pictures to remember it all.

I’m prob going to sell mine. I don’t know what to do with my dress in my house for years to come. What’s the point. Will I ever try it on LOL Also, it will be so out of style my daughter wont wear it hahaha. I love your dress. The only prob is if you did alterations it will be hard to sell

I would try to sell it, your dress is very beautiful and i think that it will sell pretty easily… or if you cant sell it, donate it to a bride that you know needs a dress and doesnt have the money to buy a dress that nice, or a shop to resell to a bride-in-need.

I’m going to sell mine, or donate it. I HATE holding onto things that will not be used or displayed. That thing will sit in the back of my closet and just taking up space that I could replace with shoes or something. I don’t need to keep it for sentimental value. When wil lI ever look at it again? If I want to see it, I can look at pictures.

I’m going to sell.

I’ll have pictures of my dresses forever.  It seems sad to box them up and stick them in a closet when they can be passed on to make another bride happy.

I’m selling. And I would advise you too, too. I don’t think that I know a single person (personally) who enjoys carting her dress around every time she moves, or thinking about the storage space it takes up in a small apartment!

I kept mine but didn’t have any daughters (which even if I did, I knew they wouldn’t wear it). And finally one day I decided to take it out of the box where it was preserved and then I played dress up with it around my house.  I love floating around in a poufy white dress. lol

And then it was donated.  The second dress was given to my son after I trashed it and he’s using it on one of his film shoots.  I got everything I wanted out of both and it was totally fun:)

That said, I would sell or donate.
