Stick with what you have–you’re cutting it pretty close, and I’m sure yours will be wonderful. 🙂

I wouldn’t if I were you, but I’m lazy and not much of a DIY’er.

I wouldn’t re-do them at this point. Honestly, once the wedding is over what the place cards looked like won’t be a big deal to you!

Oh hun. Martha Stewart can make us all feel bad about ourselves.

Keep yours. I’m sure they’re fine!

No.  The one’s you’ve done sound great and the placecards aren’t going to make or break your table setting.  Save the time and money and stick with what you’ve got.

No, you will always find something you like better (I have 4 dresses & 6 pairs of shoes) Once you order something move on to the next thing or you will have 100 of everything!

I think that yours are very cute!  I wouldn’t re-do them.  If you are really worried about them looking plain, maybe you could put a strip of ribbon or scrapbook paper at the bottom to add some color/design.  Honestly though, I think they look great as they are.

If you really love them, you could paste the leaf cutout over the stamp instead of redoing the whole lot of them. They look lovely though!

Honey,

My ‘test’ or mantra on whether I should do something or not for the wedding is: “Can I picture a guest commenting on this?”

This test help me “cut” things or not choosing to do things. As a result of this mantra I have no cake topper, borrowing knife/lifter set, no limo, no chair covers, no ceiling decoration, no back drop behind head table, white linens only.

*snooty vocie* “I can’t believe these name cards were hand made and not a martha steward replica!” Can you picture a guest saying that? ….Don’t think so. Keep ’em as is.

Your guests won’t have a better time at the wedding because their name tag was more like Martha Stewart 🙂

i like yours better as your handwriting adds a more personal touch which i think is important at your wedding! if it is relly bothering you, perhaps you could add a ribbon or other type of embellishment, there are plenty to choose from at craft stores…

I actually prefer the personal touch of yours.  Stick with yours, you did a really good job on them.

I really like your original ones, i would keep them.

These are the kind of things only you will notice. I like how personal they are (and GREAT idea about stamping diff. colours for the meal choices!!)
