    I voted for dress #1, but I like them both & I don’t think you could go wrong with either. I’m wondering what you’re family dislikes about the first one, I don’t think it’s all that untraditional. Good luck with your dress!

    If you couldn’t control anything else for your wedding….. you can control the dress you will wear that day! lol. Im not saying you won’t be making all the other choices, but I know my Mother-In-Law had PLENTY influence even if I didnt really want it…

    Get YOUR dream dress! You will be nothing more than trilled with all of your photos if it was what YOU wanted to look like 🙂 I think that #1 is so beautiful on you 😉

    Your welcome!!! That sounds just like my Mom, lol! I don’t doubt my dress decision but I am a little worried about the alterations that need to be done and if I ordered the right color. I guess that’s all part of being a bride to be, worrying about everything!

    @mindijoo:  Yay for your mom telling you to follow YOUR heart!

    I love the first one especially with the original sash. If you don’t like the original then maybe get one made in the other style but the original colour. The colour on the replacement sash is off.

    As for it being untraditional I don’t see that at all…looks traditional to me…but then this is coming from someone who is wearing a deep purple wedding gown! lol

    @mindijoo:

    Both are stunning, but #1 really takes the cake. It’s YOUR dress, go with your gut, don’t pick a dress based on what other people want. I say #1!

    exactly 🙂 “can’t please everyone”   I was just going for a more extreme example of if nothing else ends up being perfect, at least you will look perfect in the perfect dress!

    The dress is for you (and maybe your hubby? haha) and the wedding is for all the guests

    i am not really a fan of either of them. I love the shape of the first one, but i am not crazy about the lace. It reminds me of a doily or a summer eilet dress….I would keep looking.

    Both look great on you. But the second is more my personal taste.
