I think a sweetheart would show too much ta-tas… haha just my opinions. I think how it is looks good!

I like it how it is, it already has a small sweetheart to it.

I agree with tracie, you were blessed with in the ta-ta department… sweetheart might show these off more than you would like (unless of course you’ like that, in which case go for it! lol). I also agree with you, it has a small sweetheart that is really refined and pretty.

I don’t think its even a cleavage issue as much as I think it looks best with just the little dip thats there now, it might look too ruched or the ruching might fall funny if you had it redone.

I like it the way it is, I would leave it.  You look great in the dress.

I like the slight sweetheart that the dress currently has.  You could ask the seamstress if she can clip the dress so you can see what a full sweetheart would look like.

i say no to the sweetheart because i really like the neckline on your dress the way it is and i think sweetheart is being done to death – btw, im still loving your dress, great choice!

@Lisamr: Since you like the full sweetheart, there is no harm in asking the alterations person to pin/clip the dress to give you an idea of what it would look like.  I don’t know about you, but I have an awful imagination when it comes to things like this.  I have to see it in person-but that’s just me.  My dress has the slight sweetheart, which I like~so I’m a little biased in my first answer. 🙂

I like the modified sweetheart the gown has already.  It looks flattering on you!  One thing you may need to be cautious about (if you make it a full sweetheart) is when you lean over, you don’t want too much cleavage to show.  However, feel free to have the seamstress play with the gown and see what YOU like best!  :o)

Why not just buy a dress you are completely happy with to begin with, instead of paying hundreds of dollars for alterations to make it look like a different dress?
