(Closed) Should I send a Thank You card?

    I don’t think a thank you is necessary for a card when they did not attend the wedding.

    I wouldn’t send is card for a card with no gift. Just give her a call if you feel the need to acknowledge the gesture.

    Maybe not a card but I’d send a quick text or email thanking the gesture. I wouldnt want her to think I didn’t acknowledge it because it wasn’t a material gifts. But that’s just me. A lot of people will think its unnecessary and I see that point as well.

    I’d send her an email or text ( however you communicate with her) and just casually say you got the card, thanks, you missed her at the wedding.

    I would.  She thought of you for your special day and took the time to send a card even though she couldn’t come.  And since it was only a card, she’s probably not expecting a thank you, so send her one and brighten her day 🙂
