- Wedding: August 2016
So, I’ve just found out a few days ago that there is a possible postal strike (Canada) on July 2nd and both sides are no closer to reconciliation and my RSVP deadline is July 15th. As you can imagine, the timing is not the greatest. As word on the strike has been pretty minimal compared to before, not too many people know about this.
Should I send a general message on my wedding page to advise them that in event of postal strike that guests may also RSVP online or forget about it? Guests are already aware of the online option the invitation card so I think it might be a moot point since I’ll be tracking people down after the deadline.
My gut says not to worry about it and just follow up after deadline.
