(Closed) Should I tip my boudoir photographer?

It really depends on the size of the business. If it’s a family shop, tipping would be kind of strange. If it’s a large studio with many photographers, give them a tip.

Hmm…I wouldn’t tip then. I know that it seems strange because you’re getting it for free but it would also be strange to tip a business owner.

I probably would, honestly. Though, I don’t think it would be rude of you not to. I would definitely name drop for him if he does a good job, that would be a nice “tip” for him and probably all he’s expecting.

I agree with  @les105 – I don’t think it’d be rude if you didn’t tip. However, at the very least I’d tip the hair/makeup person. If the studio is anything like where I’m getting my boudoir portraits, the hair and makeup is add on (both are separate) so even though the photographer owns the place, I feel like the hair/makeup is above and beyond.
