Actually, I think this menu is just fine. I can only imagine how expensive it is with 200 guests!!

But as a guest, I wouldn’t feel underwhelmed, especially since the cocktail hour has a freaking buffet! The flambe presentation would be very fly, but not because it’s simply more food. Because its a whole “thing” and your guests will find it very memorable.

    Best wishes!

I think the package you have is fine- that’s a lot of food!

If you were to add anything though, I would add it at the tail end of the reception instead of the beginning.  You already have a lot of options at the cocktail hour, so I’d go with the dessert instead.

We’re having an “afterglow” with mini pizzas a few hours after dinner, so it’s sort of a late night snack.

IMO your package that you already have is pretty intense! it all sounds amazing!! But upgrading to either would be out of this world amazing!

Keep in mind, you dont want to have soooo much food for your guests during cocktail hour that they arent hungry for dinner… I have actually heard people say they wish there was less food…

@HVbride:  leave it, you’re offering enough choices. i would maybe check to see if you have any vegan/vegetarian friends/family. I’m vegan and i would not be able to eat very much off that menu :).

Your package is perfect! There’s a lot of food selection and a nice variety. I definitely don’t think your guests will be underwhelmed. The two additions you thought of sound great, but I think they are unecessary and would be quite a large additional expense.

Other than maybe some vegan/vegetarian options, your selections are awesome!  That is A LOT to choose from!
