I vote for the upgrade of the center stone.  You said you’ve always wanted it & I guarantee you still will even after you added an eternity band. Besides, your band & setting are awesome!  You will love a big & beautiful stone.

KMason83:  If you have your heart set on upgrading the center stone, then go for it!

May I suggest setting your current diamond as a solitaire necklace? Then you can save it for any daughters you might have. My mom did something similar with my great-grandmother’s ering – she has the setting for which my dad bought a new diamond, and they had the diamond set into a necklace for their future daughter (me!) to decide what to do with it. For lots of reasons it’s staying in the necklace, but I’m really looking forward to wearing it on my wedding day 🙂

I think another band is just going to swallow that stone and make it look even smaller.  I’d upgrade it over getting another band.

I think 1.5 would look great on a size 7 finger. .9 isn’t small by any means, but 1.5 would fit your finger better. Also, you don’t need another band. The one you have is great.
