What did you guys do? I don’t necessarily FEEL like writing my address over and over on all the STD envelopes.
And I can’t quite figure out the printing envelopes in my printer thing.
But I also feel like the labels look silly..
This addressing envelopes thing is really stressing me out.

We made our own return address seals for the envelopes. You can use labels, just use labels that are very simple and elegant. I think you can order them at vistaprint if that appeals to you.
we sprung for pre-printed envelopes for the invitations.

I think it’s a personal preference thing. I handwrote all of our envelopes for EVERYTHING wedding related (we invited about 150 people).
I just don’t like the look of labels on wedding related items. I know some people used a fancy font and used clear labels, which was a bit better than using white labels, but still – kind of tacky in my opinion. I know I’m going to get flack for using the “t” word, but it’s just my opinion.
I would handwrite. You only get married once (hopefully) so take the time to write it out. You’ll be happy you did in the long run. You can also get your Maid/Matron of Honor and girls to help you. Makes it go much quicker!

we used address labels. i got them from vista print, they’re very cute with little birds on them, and most importantly cheap. i feel like people don’t even pay attention to the envelopes anyway, and they just get thrown out, so it isn’t something that i want to spend a lot of time and money on.

I too got my address labels from VistaPrint…140 FOR ABSOLUTELY FREE! The key is to sign up for their emails and you’ll get TONS of great deals! (I’m currently getting 20 small magnets and 100 postcards FREE…I just pay like $4 shipping).
I learned this little tip from a bee the first day I joined…wish I could give credit where credit is due…

You could always order a stamp from etsy! There are tons of address stamps available in cute fonts & designs… you could also use it for your wedding invites & the RSVP envelope too 🙂
I don’t personally like labels on wedding items either, but another option would be to use the wrap around labels with your return address & your guests. They are actually really cute with colored envelopes.

I did all of my return addresses using my Gocco. You could have a stamp custom made.
