I dont think it absolutely needs a sash, but it could look great. What makes you feel like you want one ? ๐Ÿ™‚ Your dress is beautiful by the way ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it would look good if you like one, but I don’t think you need one and I think the elegance of the dress would be somewhat ruined.

I don’t like this sash trend that’s going on because I’m sure it will be over by 2020 and people will look at pics and be like… “That dress is so 2010!” When you had originally picked a beautiful elegant dress. No matter how the sash is, I think it’s a passing trend

I think it would interrupt the beautiful pattern of the lace, how it disperses into the skirt.

@raspberrymacaron:  In some cases, I agree.  I think there’s a general tendency to overaccesorize.  Most dresses on her are so spectacular that when it comes to accessories, I think less is more.

I think a sash would really draw attention to how tiny your waist is.  If you are worried about it looking dated in pictures, perhaps you could just use a simple satin ribbon instead.  That dress is beautful on you.  I love the skirt.

I think a sash would look great with this dress! A thin crystal one!

@Bichon Frise:  You can get a nice sash for a great price. I “made” mine with ribbon and a broach. You can make great sash’s with broaches! You can find great broaches for cheap at consignment shops and places like Clairs, etc. ๐Ÿ˜€ Good luck! ๐Ÿ˜€

here is the one I made (less than $10):

I don’t think it’s necessary, but it would look pretty.

It’s a gorgeous dress as it is, but I think a sash would be a great addition to it!

A sash would be beautiful on you, and would really cinch you in!  Though, you look beautiful without one!
