I think soft curls would look lovely.

How you wear your hair is really all up to you.  I would probably go with whatever feels best.  I am also a bit of a tomboy, but selling it up because, well, it’s my wedding.  If I’m not gonna go extravagant for this, I’m never going to, lol.

Think about your day-of look… if you are wearing any accessories and you’ve already purchased them (necklace, hairclip, tiara, veil, etc.), think about what hairstyle would go best with them.

I picked my hairstyle based on the rest of my accessories, making sure that there wasn’t too much going on in any given place.  My dress is pretty detailed, but my only other accessory is a necklace -I’ve opted against wearing a veil or anything too fancy in my hair (might use a simpler hairclip, not too sure), so I decided to go with a fancy hairstyle that is elegant by itself.

Here are my inspiration photos:

I am really risking my butt here because I’m getting married in a green house in June (I am probably going to melt!).  Since it’s in August, you would likely be more comfortable with an updo because all that hair on your shoulders and back is bound to get hot.  Maybe ask your stylist for recommendations, they account for a lot of things I’m probably nothing thinking of (shape of your face, etc.).  Good luck!

How long is your hair?  Do you want it up and out of your face? Think about how you are on a normal day.  When your hair is down are you constantly pushing it out of the way?  Or…when it’s down do you feel more feminine?
