The J Crew dress is absolutely gorgeous!  And you look great in it!  The train is so pretty.  The BHLDN dress is pretty, but that dress on you looks fantastic.

I’m  not a fan of the dress. I think that type of fabric shows everything you don’t want off. I also don’t like how shiny it comes off in photos.

I like the BHLDN much better.

This is a stunning dress. It looks like something the Duchess of Cambridge might wear. I would recommend trying on the other dress if you can, because while it is beautiful it doesn’t necessarily enhance your figure. Of course that may not be your aim is.

Not very flattering or forgiving from the front, I would try the other one you have in mind.

I think it looks great on you!  I like this one much more than the other one.  I’m not sure what other people mean by saying it’s not flattering… you don’t have anything sticking out anywhere… other than maybe a hip bone in that one pic?  A slip or something will fix that.  I’d say keep it! You have the body for it!

The J. Crew dress is lovely, but I’ve loved the BHLDN dress forever and would love to see it on a real bride! Have you had a chance to try it on yet?

I really like this gown!  It reminds me of the dress my mother wore for her wedding just modernized.  It is truly stunning on you … with alterations it will only look better!

I LOVE the J.Crew one!!!  Its so glamorous and more bridal than the Bhldn dress.  Unfortunately, the clingy-ness of the silk fabric isn’t something that can be fixed with alterations, that’s just what that fabric does. The Bhldn dress has a clingy fabric too though.  I think a body shaper/Spanx would help you feel better about.

Yes, but I would recommend 3 things:

1. Get a statement necklace, one that’s much shorter than the one you have on in the pictures.

2. Get a sash/belt of some sort. It wouldn’t need a flower or whatever on it, but that might help.

3. Alter or pad the chest. It looks too big (I’m sure they do this on purpose).

Other than that, it looks great, and since you’re pretty thin, the clinginess is nothing some Spanx and/or no-show undies won’t address. It’s a beautiful gown.

No offense, but the BHLDN one looks like it’s made for an older woman.
