I think its VERY pretty! Although I would add a brooch belt that is on the same type of chiffon material that your train is of to tie it all together

@Coffeelady:  You are a woman after my own heart.  I am obsessed with that very gown and the bhldn crepe de chine.  Do you have pictues of you in the crepe de chine is there is a real lack of picture of real brides wearing it?  I love the simplicity and vintage feel of both dresses.  That looks forgeous on you though, that one you have pictured.  I agree about a statement necklace – maybe try some vintage jewlerrs for a lovely piece?  Very pretty.

@anahappilyeverafter:  I am going to wear the BHLDN crepe de chine for my wedding. I’m in Canada and would lose 2x the shipping if it didn’t work out so I did a fair bit of internet stalking before buying.

The thing is the dress is lovely but requires tailoring. Not everyone in the photos online has had it tailored. I’m having a seamstress make multiple adjustments so the top will be snug enough and maintain the v neck shape, and the hips won’t be too tight. Also, the way the fabric draped over the zipper at the back created an unattractive bump but my seamstress is able to fix this as she is replacing the zipper anyway. Unfortunately tailoring = $$$ but I figure more expensive dresses require adjustments as well.

Here are a couple links I found:

I think it’s very chic and looks wonderful on you! It has a simplistic, elegant feel to it. (I guess that’s what J.Crew is about!) Very Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy!

Edited to add:Whoops! I read upthread that you chose the other dress, and I think you posted it in one of my threads! Tongue Out Anyways, I still think you looked fab in the J.Crew dress – congrats on choosing THE dress!

I think it will look amazing after alterations! But, similarly, the other dress you posted would look great on you as well. I’m torn between the two! I suppose its whether or not your wedding is more formal or laid back and how modern or couture of a look you want 🙂
