Lovely church! I love symmetry also, but there’s also the fact that they are your MOH/Best Men. Ususally when I see the Bridal Party sit…these people are still standing. What if you need help with your gown, flowers, etc?

Gorgeous church! I’ve seen both happen during ceremonies. It’s probably a question you can ask your priest/minister, etc. at the rehearsal. He’ll probably tell you anyway. 🙂

Yes, have all three standing. If you need to psych yourself out…just say they represent the Trinity 😉

I think seated would look better, I love symmetry as well, besides they’ll thank you if you are having a loooong ceremony :o)

I went to a wedding at a catholic church and everyone sat. Including the bride and groom. I’ve never been to a catholic wedding before, so what do I know. I don’t even know if that was a traditional catholic wedding!

I think them sitting would look best so they don’t look weird. All standing in pews is kind of weird to me.

I think it depends on how long your ceremony is – my instinct is to have them stand, because in FSIL’s ceremony her Maid/Matron of Honor had to fix her dress, but no one besides us BMs noticed because we were already standing. But that was only a 20 minute ceremony, I couldn’t imagine standing in 4″ heels for much longer than that!
