(Closed) Should spouses be in "family" photos of in-laws?

I have in-laws like that, too. Apparently, grandchildren don’t qualify as family. In my father-in-law’s case it’s actually just my daughter, who is his biological grandchild, while his other grandchildren do qualify. I don’t know what makes them first-class grandchildren, but we don’t care anymore. I told my father-in-law years ago after he asked me to wait outside with my one-year-old daughter while he was taking “family pictures” that he’s a wanker and not welcome at my house. I should have told him so when he asked me to get out of pictures at my own wedding since I was in the way — yes, at my own wedding paid for by my family. He’s a real gem!

peegee:  My family and I always include everybody as well, which is why I was so shocked by my in-law’s behaviour.
