I want him to look at me, and me to look at him.  This is one of the moments I am most looking foward to!

My husband will be watching (when we have our church ceremony — we had a civil cermony already).  He’d not miss watching his bride walk down the aisle to him for anything.

it seems like a UK thing that the groom dosn’t look.  I don’t get it.

I agree with Atalanta that it is a UK thing, my Fiance is English and he was thinking he would be facing the alter until I meet him at the end….but I changed his mind. Like brandylynnp, its one of the things I’m most looking forward to!

Looking at Darling Husband as I walked down the aisle was fantastic. One of the best moments of the day.(even though we had a first look. nothing was lost in that moment)

I just got married, and I am not sure what he did. I think he looked at me as I walked down, but we also did a first look and pictures before hand so it wasnt the first time he saw me.

Edit: He said he was looking at me.

I want him looking at me! I love the idea of everyone getting to see his face if they want to…. And we talked about it after the royal wedding and he said he would feel to akward just standing there as i walked up…

I want him looking at me and me looking at him as I walk down the aisle. It’s going to be such a beautiful moment to see the look in his eyes as I walk towards him as his soon-to-be wife. I couldn’t imagine it being any different 🙂

it is a UK thing,   and i dont want him to see me until i stand beside him…..anyone else can look but not him……its tradition for him to be the very last person to see you,  and i love our old traditions.

I think this is a personal thing. I really want my guy to watch me coming toward him to join him in the rest of our lives together. But anne B‘s tradition sounds like it’s perfect for her. Everyone’s happy. 🙂
