    Buy them and keep the receipts. If someone already purchased thecafe you just return the ones you bought.

    @Ice Skate:  Ditto!  If you need them, get them now, If they are putting this pattern on clearance, you may not be able to get them later.

    I agree with pps. Buy them. It’s very frustrating when you invest in something that requires a number of components to complete the set, and then you find out that the items you do not yet have are being discontinued and may be impossible (or at least very difficult) to find.

    I did this. C&B semi-discontinued a home decor item I really wanted, and I’d registered for two. So I snapped one up on sale, and left the other on the list. It still comes on as available every so often, so if we get it as a gift, great. But I have at least one coordinating piece even if it doesn’t, so I’m good.
