Meh. Since it’s the envelope, I’d let it be and just use them. But I would reach out to the company for some sort of compensation because that is unacceptable. Just say you’re behind on sending them out so will use them as is but are extremely disappointed that a printing company used a printer with low ink!

ETA: they may be able to rush deliver for you? Might be worth asking.

I don’t think the sketchy printing is that noticeable, and certainly not something a guest would be worried about on the *envelope* of your invitations! I agree with you that it’s better just to get get them sent out.

That said, if you’re not happy with the quality and there have been other issues, I would try to negotiate a partial refund.

I’d say it depends on how much did you spend? If it was under $100 I’d just forget about it.  If you spent a lot more I’d def get a partial refund.   No offense but it does look bad even if it’s only the envelope.

I don’t think it will actually matter all that much, no one will even notice that small detail, and otherwise they look beautiful!

ETA: I really don’t think guests notice these things (this coming from someone who put sweat and tears into her invitation suite for weeks before finally deciding on and creating the perfect ones 😂). HOWEVER, you mentioned that you’ve had issues with this company before, I think you need to reach out to them and let them know and see if you can get a partial refund or discount on future printing for things such as your thank you notes!

I don’t think guests will notice or care too much about the envelope printing quality. Since you mentioned you are a little behind schedule for mailing out the invitations, if it were me I’d probably mail them out as-is.  I understand why you are upset, however. This is the second problem you’ve had with the printers. Like someone else said, you could ask for a partial refund and see what happens.

I wouldnt worry too much about it! I think its okay to send out, as its on the envelop i doubt guests will even really notice.  That being said, as previous poster wrote, i would contact store and say how disappointed you are with them to see if you can get some compensation back as i agree its not fair to have printed that way.

Great! I’m glad they gave you at least a little bit of your money back. Leave a Yelp review to warn others. ha.
