Fiance and I will not be having a ring bearer during our upcoming wedding. Instead, we will be having our best man hold the rings for us. We are wondering if we should still get a ring pillow anyway, or if those who don’t have ring bearers typically don’t have a ring pillow. We are about a month away from our wedding and are starting to finalize these little details!

I wouldn’t (and didn’t) bother – it’s not like the pillow will fit in his pocket. Waste of money!

Some dummy – ME! – clicked the yes button by accident. Forget the pillow. The best man doesn’t want to carry it. I seldom see pillows used anymore. There are a lot of alternatives, such as ring boxes, mini treasure chests – whatever is most secure/thematic, to carry the rings.

The only purpose here for a ring pillow (or box, etc.) is if you want a cute picture of your rings in it.

I had a ring bearer but didn’t have a pillow. The best man held the rings The ring bearer was more of a way to involve family.

Who would carry the pillow? I don’t see the point if someone else is holding the rings.

I just chuckled at the image of my best man (a bery manly man) carryign a cute little ring pillow down the aisle. LOL.
If you don’t feel you need it, then don’t worry about it!! If you like the idea of something for the rings to be in, then maybe find a nice ornate box for the best man to carry? 🙂 Just an idea!!

Get a little ring box and have him put it in his pocket. Etsy!

Thanks, everyone, for your advice and for voting!! The Nos have it (overwhelmingly), so we will not be getting a ring pillow 😀
pearlrose: I like the ring box idea!
