- Wedding: October 2011
A little background first…our wedding colors are black and light gold champagne. Our venue only provides white table cloths and white skirting for the head table, DJ table, gift table, and cake table.
We ordered light champagne tablecloths for the guest tables, which cost us a decent chunk of change.. but I’m hoping to sell them after the wedding.
I was planning on just renting black table skirting for the head table, DJ table, gift table, and cake table… but now I’m wondering if we should just use the white skirting (to save $$) and use some black swag or overlays to get our colors worked into the tables. But then I also want to work champagne in with it as well so it matches the guest tables (since our colors are not black & white)…which would cost money as well.
Also, we will need a backdrop with lighting behind the head table, but not sure which color to do for that.
For some reason, I can’t put this together in my head and picture what it would look like if we did this. Ultimately, I would want all black skirting and then champagne swag but I just don’t want to spend the extra $$ if we don’t have to.
So, what do you all think?
