Yes, it is way more convenient to have the wedding website on the STD, who cares how it looks : (55 votes)

No, it's easy enough to share the wedding website address another way : (6 votes)

See if you can put it on the back, that’s what I did with mine.

This is the back of ours. I made it into a postcard to have the address and this on the back.

I did, it was just easier. We’ve got the hotel information, registry..Airfare, etc.

How about the back of the STD? I think if you have guests traveling for your wedding that it may be a good idea for them to be aware of traveling accommodations ahead of time before getting the wedding invitation. Another suggestion from a previous poster, may adding a small card with the website link along with the STD may be helpful too.

raspberrybidet :  I used Vistaprint for my Save-The-Date Cards also. Although I had it on the info/main side of the postcard, I was also able to place it under our picture to the left of our return address. Are you able to do that w/ your design?

It depends when people need the information that’s on the website. Ours had accom details and a block code so we put it on the save the date. With websites you do typically need to repeat it before you get cut through so I also wanted it to be on the two pieces of mail

Although I don’t have a website, I think it’s a great idea to include it in the STD.  It can make planning easier for out of town guests, and why wait until the invites to share your cute website with everyone?  😊

We’ve been invited to weddings where the room block discount expired 4-8 weeks before the wedding date. Waiting until the invitations are sent, to include the website address, may be too late.

I put it on my STD’s and I used Google’s url shortener. There is also tinyurl.com. It looked fine once it was shortened.

I think it’s better to have it on the STD so that people can look at your registry and see accomodations and such. This was mine:

raspberrybidet :  I had the same issue, so I put a small amount of text on the back, giving the website to direct people to the correct hotels where we have blocks of rooms.

Could you post a version of your STD design here with the personal info blacked out? There are some really creative bees here that may be able to suggest a way to work it in. Handwriting 100 website links sounds like a fair bit of work
