Should your Save-The-Date Cards match your wedding website and overall colors? We are doing somewhat of a destination wedding, so we decided to use bright colors with sort of an island-y feel to it. But I just realized the colors don’t match “our” wedding colors nor our wedding website (great planning, I know lol). So now I’m like “crap”! The overall “feel” is kind of island-y type but no color coordination whatsoever! I totally suck at these kinds of things and Fiance is…well he’s a guy so no help there. So does it look kind of tacky? Should EVERYTHING “match”? Please help!
Also I already ordered my Save-The-Date Cards, so I was considering changing my wedding website to “match” or color coordinate with my invites….but they aren’t my colors…

I don’t think it matters. We color coordinated just because I liked the colors and that’s pretty much it. Plus we used magnetstreet for both our save the dates and invitations (we used different style patterns though) so it made it super easy to use the same colors.
Overall I really don’t think it matters if the island feel is present in both, that’s enough in my books.

Honestly, I don’t think it matters. I would not notice this as a guest. Everything you’re doing sounds beautiful, and as long as you like them, that’s all that matters. In fact, I PREFER when things aren’t matchy-matchy!
