haha, too funny 🙂 I love the gummy vitamins! Just make sure that they still have enough Calcium…my prenatals had a disappointing amount so I take an additional supplement.

Yeah the only possible issue would be if you were already over supplied with iron, and to be fair that’s v unusual in menstruating women. At least you’re getting everything you need now!

@pomplamoose:  lol, that was actually FI’s idea. I wanted to tell him WHY I was switching to PNs because I didn’t want him running to the liquor cabinet the first time he opened the cabinet where I keep the vitamins. We’re the first in our gen to get married so everyone is just a TINY bit excited for all of that stuff.

I’m taking pre-natal vitamins for the foreseeable future. I want to be in the best possible shape if and when we start trying to conceive.

As everybody has already said, Prenatals are fine and not dangerous. Just recognize thst most prenatals do not have as many minerals  and vitamins and standard multivitamins. They generally have increased levels of calcium (sometimes), iron, and folic acid but depending on the brand that may not contain other vitamins and minerals (which you are probably getting in your diet anyway). Just always read the labels.

Prenatal vitamins are apparently good for your hair and nails *shrug*.  They don’t do any harm, they’re still just vitamins!
